I pay tribute to your courage: Buhari mourns the soldiers killed by ISWAP terrorists

President Muhammad Buhari sympathized with the family of soldiers killed by fighters in the Islamic State of West Africa (ISWAP) in Borno. 

Terrorists attacked the town of Askara in Askira Uba LGA, Borno, on Saturday morning with armed trucks and a long army convoy involved in the shootout.
The army confirmed that Brigadier General Dzarma Zirkusu, a brave senior officer, and three soldiers were killed by rebels while dealing with support forces fighting terrorists.
In response to the death of the soldier, President Buhari said in a statement released by media assistant Garba Shehu that the deceased had made the ultimate sacrifice with a very rare manifestation of courage.
He said,
"Nigeria has lost a brave soldier. I respect your courage. May their souls sleep peacefully. General Zirx makes us sad and crushes us. His soldiers remain immortal.
"I pray that the Almighty will give you and your bereaved the strength and courage to endure this irreparable loss."

The President also urged Lieutenant Falk Yahaya, Chief of Staff of the Army, to accept his heartfelt condolences and public condolences.
